A processing aid specifically designed for the inhibition of mineral and organic scale deposit and for the sequestration of mineral ions to be used in whey, whey permeates, milk protein concentrate permeate and fruit and vegetable processing. This product is a concentrated sequestering agent that aids in the reduction of mineral precipitates. Excessive scale precipitation during processing can interfere with heat transfer equipment resulting in shorter run times and excessive cleaning difficulties. ALKA CLEAN 3000 is a liquid that may be dispensed directly into the process stream during the production process.
